Founded in 1790, this historic Touraine domaine is situated just miles from the iconic Chateau de Chenonceau and has remained under the stewardship of the same family for many generations. Today, the estate is managed by Carine Simoneau alongside winemaker Sébastien Paris, continuing a legacy of resilience exemplified by Carine’s grandfather, Andre, who took over the vineyards at just 14 years old during World War II. The property spans 75 hectares of organic vineyards characterized by a diverse mix of sand, limestone, and clay, where they prioritize Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Franc, and Gamay. Though they maintain a dedicated local following and sell the majority of their production directly from the winery, their wines represent a classic expression of the Touraine terroir.
