Angiolino Maule, once the owner of a successful pizzeria, followed his calling to the land and founded his estate in Gambellara, where volcanic soils and the Garganega grape became the foundation of his winemaking. Since establishing about 15 hectares in Biancara, he has farmed without chemicals, embracing biodynamic practices to nurture living soils and resilient vines. With deep conviction, Angiolino believes that great wines come from healthy, handpicked fruit and that the cellar must reflect the vineyard’s natural integrity—eschewing additives, sulfur, temperature control, fining, or filtration. His philosophy is to let wine express its origins truthfully, creating bottles that are unique, authentic, and free from the standardization of industrial winemaking.
