Domaine Latour-Labille—now led by Vincent Latour and his wife Cécile—has roots dating back to 1792, but Vincent has transformed the family estate since taking over in 1998. Working with about nine hectares of estate vines plus purchased fruit, he has earned recognition as one of Burgundy’s most promising winemakers, celebrated for his standout 2006 vintage and multiple local awards. Vincent crafts refined, tension-driven Meursault using whole-cluster crushing, native yeasts, and fermentation in larger-format barrels, demi-muids, and foudres to balance sucrosity with purity and minimize overt oak. The winery has been extensively renovated, vineyard work follows lutte raisonnée practices, and élevage is deliberately long, resulting in classically styled wines that highlight brilliant fruit and mineral-rich terroir.
