Bianka and Daniel Schmitt are a husband-and-wife team in Rheinhessen, Germany, who produce some of the country’s most exciting natural wines. Farming biodynamically, they work with Riesling, Silvaner, and other local grapes, allowing spontaneous fermentations and extended aging. Their wines are vibrant, energetic, and often a little wild, capturing both the spirit of natural winemaking and the richness of Rheinhessen’s rolling vineyards.
